Bot wishes happy Friday/Monday to user transcript
If you would like to make your chat bot just a tiny bit more personal, that will be a really easy thing to do. For example, you can train your chat bot to wish a happy day to a user. To do this, set two custom fields. One should be called the Current Date, and you should set the Current Date to the date of the action.
The other custom fields should be a text custom field called Week Day and Week Day should be equal as the current date.
When you add the Current Date to this value input field, click on it, and click Use Custom Format, then delete this default custom format and click the curly bracket icon.
You should then scroll all the way down and choose Day: Monday, and of course, click save at the end.
If you wish for your chatbot to, wish a happy day only on certain days, for example, on Friday, add the condition that says if the Week Day is Friday, then send a message that says: “Happy Friday, welcome to Slick Bots.” And if the Week Day is not Friday, then send this regular message that says “Hello, welcome to Slick Bots.”
If you wish to do this every day, then just skip this condition and connect Week Day to the first message.
Click publish, and then click preview to test. Click open messenger, and your bot should send you a welcome message and wish you a happy day.
So Happy Wednesday. Thank you and have a nice day.
