1. Settings

If you would like to add a new team member to ManyChat, for example, a new admin, you should open the ManyChat Dashboard and go to Settings, as shown here:

2. Team Option

After you click on the Settings option, a new menu will open on the left. In the Main section, click on the “Team”.

3. Invite New Member

At the top of the page, you will see a button that says “+ Invite New member”. Click on that button.

4. Select Role

Invite new member pop-up should show. 

There are four different roles you can choose from. The Owner of the account and Admin can only control which roles are assigned to each member.

  • Admin – can manage payment and billing, create and share chatbot content, and install different templates.
  • Editor – similar to admin role with some limitations for template creation, cloning, and disabling chatbots.
  • Live Chat Agent – as the term suggest, it’s intended for live chatting with your chatbot contacts in offering the service in real-time.
  • Viewer – role best used for tracking performance and statistics without the option of editing. 

Accordingly, select the best suiting role you want to assign to a new team member.

If you want your new member to have the most abilities, you should assign them the Admin role.

5. Invitation Link

When you pick a role, click on the “Generate a Link” button that shows up inside a pop up window.

You will see a link here that you should copy and send to a new member. Click “Got it” at the end.
